WomenRising, Inc. has some volunteer opportunities, including activities with children and adults, in social, educational and recreational settings. We also have many opportunities for volunteers to use their handyperson skills, especially doing such things as painting and cleaning.
WomenRising, Inc. values contributions made on a volunteer basis, however great or small, just as long as there is a match between the contribution being offered and our organizational and client needs.
WomenRising, Inc. can accommodate both individuals and groups of volunteers, depending upon the activity.

Gifts in Kind
WomenRising, Inc. works with many women and families whose needs for clothing,
household supplies, and personal items is significant. We accept donations in
all these areas, providing that the items being donated are of high quality,
respecting the dignity of each woman and family.
From time to time, WomenRising also accepts donations of office furniture for use in one of our facilities, and home furniture, for families moving from one of our facilities to independent living.
Because our storage capabilities are limited, we require that an appointment be made in advance of bringing any donations of this kind to any of our facilities.
