The Community Partnerships in Hotel Employment Program is part of WomenRising's commitment to help women gain economic independence through a sectoral workforce and economic development strategy. It includes job and skills training that focuses on a specific industry and is informed by current hotel industry needs. The program simultaneously addresses workplace needs and the needs of local residents, thereby promoting economic growth by helping employers gain a stable and skilled workforce.

DOMESTIC VIOLENCE SERVICES
WomenRising is the State of New Jersey's designated provider for Hudson County's domestic violence programming. For over 25 years, WomenRising has provided direct, immediate and comprehensive access to services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, for women and children victimized by domestic violence.

FAMILY ADVOCACY PROGRAM
FAP assists families in crisis seeking help to stabilize the family, and facilitates reunification from out-of-home placement. Counselors and family members work to:

FAMILY MICRO LOAN PROGRAM
FML program assists women to develop their financial skills by increasing their knowledge financial literacy and credit management tools, and by offering small loans to remove barriers caused by minor financial emergencies.

FAMILY SUPPORT SERVICES
FSS is a short-term counseling program. Counselors work with individuals & families setting goals and working together to review and adjust them. When needed, individuals are referred to other social services or long-term counseling.

JOB BANK
Job Bank, located at 169 Monticello Ave. Jersey City, provides assistance for residents searching for a job. Offerings include: a computer lab, resume workshops, education sessions, financial literacy training, and other employment-related workshops. The Job Bank is also a resource for local organizations seeking employees.
NEIGHBORHOOD REVITALIZATION/ BCU
Collaborates with Bergen Communities United (BCU). BCU is a community-based collaboration among area stakeholders working passionately to improve the quality of life in our neighborhood. BCU fosters communication and establishes links among neighborhood stakeholders to identify common interests, problems and solutions. Through our work together, involving hundreds of community residents, business owners and other stakeholders, a comprehensive neighborhood plan was developed to function as a practical roadmap for the rejuvenation of the historic Bergen Hill section of Jersey City.
PROJECT CAREER PATH
A 20 day, intensive workforce development training and supervised work experience to help fill the gaps - between programs and/or any lapses away from the WorkFirst New Jersey process. Project Career Path is a launching pad for clients -from training to a career. The goal is to ensure that clients receive the assistance they need to begin working and stay working.

PROJECT HOME
WomenRising's Project Home provides 12 months of transitional housing and support services to women and children affected by substance abuse and domestic violence. In this safe, sober community, Project Home women and children have opportunities to:

STRONG FOUNDATIONS
Strong Foundations assists women to move toward self-sufficiency by equipping them with knowledge, resources and workplace skills. Participants receive assessments, training and linkages to job skills and education, and develop solutions to health and child care and other issues that can impede success in a work environment.

SUPERVISED VISITATION
The Supervised Visitation program promotes the reunification of the family, specifically with biological children who have been placed out of the home. Counselors:
