In addition, to the above we offer 3 (three) Personnel Days, 9 (nine)
identified holidays with 2 (two) floating holidays, time off to vote, bereavement
leave, sick time and where applicable compensatory time.
Eligible full-time employees may choose from (2) two medical coverage options, an HMO type and an Indemnity Type. The employee shares the cost of medical insurance with WomenRising, Inc. Eligibility begins at the successful completion of your initial work period.
WomenRising, Inc. carries workers' compensation insurance as required by law,
to protect employees who are injured on the job. WomenRising, Inc pays the cost
of this coverage.
Employees of WomenRising, Inc. who are unable to work due to illness, injury,
or pregnancy may receive state-funded income protection for the time they are
unable to work. The determination of benefits is up to the state.
WomenRising, Inc. has recently created a 403B Employee Retirement Plan. Eligible employees after (2) two full years of employment may enroll. WomenRising, Inc. will make annual contributions to the fund for each eligible participant.
